Plan a curve launch
A launch starts with a new generated coin and a launch ticket holding its full supply. Publishing the coin, registering it in Sui’s Coin Registry, and creating the launch are separate transactions. The ticket holder can launch the coin; the creator recipient named in the coin package receives the rights to fees and metadata and may be a different wallet or Blast account.
Settings to decide
Section titled “Settings to decide”| Setting | Effect and limits |
|---|---|
| Metadata | Name, description, and icon can later change with the metadata capability. Symbol is at most 32 bytes at finalization; symbol and decimals stay fixed. |
| Supply | Exactly one billion whole tokens, minted once. Decimals must be admitted by Blast; the source initially admits 6 and 9. |
| Supply mode | Burn-only permits supply reduction. Fixed supply sends disposal tokens to the zero address instead of reducing recorded supply. |
| Sell burn | From 0% to 50% of each sale’s token input after its token fee. Fixed in the published ticket. Tokens wait for disposal at pool launch. |
| Quote coin | An admitted coin different from the launched coin. |
| Virtual quote reserve | Positive pricing parameter. Opening spot price is virtual quote reserve divided by the tokens assigned to the curve, adjusting for decimals. It is not deposited liquidity. |
| Graduation target | Real quote reserve needed to close the curve. It must leave at least one quote atomic unit for the pool. |
| Supply allocation | Curve, pool, Blast’s allocation, and project recipients sum to 100%. Curve and pool shares must be positive. |
| Quote allocation | Pool, Blast’s allocation, and project recipients sum to 100% of the final real quote reserve. |
| Project recipients | Up to 16 non-zero addresses, each with separate token and quote shares. Current code permits the same address in multiple allocation entries. |
| Venue and tier | Cetus or Bluefin. The pool tier is fixed at creation. Cetus requires a registered tier; Bluefin enforces its spacing and fee-rate bounds. |
| Future LP-fee split | Creator, auto-liquidity, holder rewards, burn, and up to 16 distinct extra recipients sum to 100% after Blast’s LP-fee share. |
| Opening round | None, or 60–300 seconds. See the round rules. |
| Partner | Optional accepted Blast partner, named during creation. It cannot be added or replaced later. |
Blast’s current supply and quote allocation must fit inside each 100% total. Read the policy before building the plan. The SUI creation fee is separate from the quote coin and must be paid exactly, even when the launch uses another coin.
The pool’s initial price follows the tokens and quote coins allocated to the pool. It can differ from the curve’s last price. Check both prices before launching; a different split can create a price discontinuity at graduation.
What can change later
Section titled “What can change later”Under the current code, the target, virtual reserve, allocation plan, trade-fee rates, sell burn, opening-round duration, partner, and venue tier are fixed for that launch.
The creator recipient claims two transferable capabilities after the launch becomes public:
- A curve-fee capability claims creator curve fees and later creator LP fees. Its holder can replace the future LP-fee split after migration; existing pool fees settle under the old split first.
- A metadata capability changes the name, description, and icon. It does not change balances, symbol, or decimals.
Blast administrators can reassign either capability, invalidating the old one. Blast also controls its live share of trade fees and of LP fees, its payout destination, and compatible contract upgrades. Read Safety and authority before relying on any fixed setting.
Launch checklist
Section titled “Launch checklist”- Confirm the deployment and supported app flow; these guides describe source rather than a recorded live launchpad release.
- Verify the exact coin type, creator recipient, supply mode, decimals, and sell burn before publishing.
- Check the starting curve price, the target, every allocation, and the resulting pool price.
- Review both asset fees, Blast’s allocation and fee shares, and the exact SUI creation fee.
- Choose the opening round or disclose any purchase before public sharing.
- Confirm the venue tier, LP-fee split, partner, and operational path for pool launch and fee collection.
Technical creation steps are in Build on the launchpad.
Model the plan
Section titled “Model the plan”Open the bonding-curve builder to enter features, recipients, fees and LP funding and see the prices together. The design guide explains each choice; the pricing walkthrough derives the equations with graphs.
