Safety and guarantees
Nobody, including the team and Blast, can take your commitment or change the deal after the sale opens.
What the contract guarantees
Section titled “What the contract guarantees”The supply is final. The full supply is minted at creation and the ability to mint more is destroyed in the same step. From then on it is fixed, or can only shrink by burning.
The terms are final. The window, target, eligibility rules, allocations, recipients, and fee split are fixed at creation. The team cannot edit, pause, or cancel the sale.
The contract holds your commitment. It moves only by the sale’s rules, buying tokens at launch or coming back to you as a refund.
One rule for everyone. Every buyer in a sale is filled at the same rate and pays the same price per token.
A stalled launch still refunds you. If a sale reaches its target but does not launch within its liquidity window, which is at least seven days, anyone can cancel it and every commitment becomes refundable in full.
Liquidity cannot be pulled. On Cetus, the pool position is burned and only its right to collect fees is kept. On Bluefin, the sale’s vault holds the position, and no function exists to remove it.
The rules cannot be rewritten. The contract can only be upgraded to relink the exchanges it depends on. Its own logic can never change.
What Blast can still do
Section titled “What Blast can still do”Blast assigns separate administrator roles through its shared access-control list. These roles can:
- adjust Blast’s own fee rates on a sale, only before the sale’s window opens. A token-fee change moves tokens between Blast and the buyers’ share, so the buyers’ token count shown before the start can change until the window opens;
- change Blast’s share of trading fees on a launched pool;
- change the address that receives Blast’s fees;
- decide how a pool’s holder-reward share is distributed;
- choose which quote coins, exchanges, and partners new sales may use.
It cannot pause or cancel a sale, move commitments, or change any sale terms listed above.
Risks that remain yours
Section titled “Risks that remain yours”- Price. The coin may trade below the presale price after launch.
- Lock-up. Your coins are locked until the sale launches or is cancelled. In a stalled launch, that can be the full liquidity window after the sale ends.
- Vesting. If tokens vest, you cannot sell them until they unlock.
- Regulated coins. Some coins let their issuer freeze addresses. If the sale coin or the quote coin can be frozen, its issuer could block your claim or later transfers. Check the sale page.
- Exchanges. After launch, trading happens on Cetus or Bluefin and depends on those protocols.
- Smart contract risk. The contract is tested and its source is public, but software can still have flaws.
- Imitations. Only commit through blast.fun or an app you trust. A look-alike page can ask you to sign something else.
