Fees and revenue
What Blast charges
Section titled “What Blast charges”Blast has three fees. Each sale records Blast’s rates at creation and pays those rates.
| Fee | Taken from | When |
|---|---|---|
| Raise fee | A share of the raise target | At launch |
| Token fee | A share of the supply | At launch |
| Trading fee share | A share of the pool’s trading fees, in both coins | Each time fees are collected |
- Nothing is charged at creation, on commitments, on refunds, or if the sale does not launch.
- Refunded overflow is never charged.
- Blast can adjust its rates on a sale (raise fee, token fee, and trading-fee shares) only before the sale’s window opens. After that, the raise and token fees are final.
- A token-fee change moves tokens to or from the buyers’ share; a raise-fee change moves quote coin to or from the pool. Your recipients’ amounts never move.
- After launch, Blast can adjust its share of a pool’s trading fees.
Ask the Blast team for current rates and what to expect after launch. Any rate can be zero.
What your team earns
Section titled “What your team earns”| Source | Paid to | When |
|---|---|---|
| Raise share | Your raise recipients | At launch, or vested from launch |
| Supply share | Your token recipients | At launch, or vested from launch |
| Trading fees | Your fee recipients | Each time fees are collected |
| Leftovers | Holder of the sale’s owner pass | Once, after launch |
Vesting. Any raise or supply share can vest. You set a cliff, a step length, and a number of steps. The schedule starts at launch, cannot be cancelled by anyone, and always pays the same recipient.
Leftovers. A very small amount of either coin may not fit into the pool position at launch. The holder of the sale’s owner pass (the PresaleCap object), which the contract gives to the creator, can claim it once.
Holder rewards
Section titled “Holder rewards”The quote-coin part of the holder allocation stays in the pool’s vault; its sale-token part is paid to Blast’s governed treasury. Blast decides who receives holder rewards and publishes them in rounds, each with a claim deadline. A round may separately reserve quote coin to reimburse distribution gas. This reserve cannot be spent by holder claims, and unused reserve returns to the vault. Unclaimed holder rewards also return when anyone closes the round after its deadline.
Partners
Section titled “Partners”A sale that names a Blast partner pays the partner a cut of Blast’s raise fee and trading fee share. The cut comes out of Blast’s fees, never your team’s or your buyers’ share. Blast’s token fee is never shared.
Exchange fees
Section titled “Exchange fees”Cetus and Bluefin apply their own rules to trading fees, and may keep part of them before they reach the position. Check the exchange you choose.
